In a nutshell, the old Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) is on its way out. Made from copper, it has become fragile, served its purpose and is making way. All users will be making the switch from the old Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to a fully digital network. The roll-out has already started, which gradually will happen until the complete shut off for PSTN to be shut off by 2025!
